What is a VPN and how should I use it
There is a lot of talk about internet privacy these days. It seems, no matter what kind of a service we are using or regardless of how protected a website may be, there is always a reason to be concerned. Simply put, our data is a valuable resource. Having this in mind, it is no wonder that companies are prepared to take that data and use it for their own goals.

Do Blog Comments Help SEO?
Yes, they do help SEO.
I ran a test a few months ago and have't got round to blogging about it yet. And i wasn't,
but 2 things happened recently that made me change my mind…
The Test
I bought 3 .com domains with no previous history, uploaded the same amount of posts (roughly), added social profiles for all and did 3 different things.
I used Moz Domain Authority to gauge "link juice" and authority
Domain 1: Commented once a day on new blog post over 3 months, 90 - 100 comments (didnt care if it was follow or no follow) - in the end only about 50% were accepted and indexed.
Domain 2: Paid 100$ for citation services on "niche relent sites" on BHW - 100 citations/profiles and some web 2.o's.
Domain 3: Did nothing, just uploaded legible but not good enough for my money site content every 2 weeks.
Month 1
Domain 1: DA 3, no real traffic except small trickles from my comments, roughly 3 for every comment (which was nice)
Domain 2: DA 3, Bought service - took 3 weeks. No referral traffic at all, but helped me kind of rank for non competitive terms (non exact match keywords) - Positions 16 - 34
Domain 3: DA 2 nothing, odd click from being sand-boxed
Month 2
Domain 1: Jumped to DA 11, small trickles of traffic continue (only about 4 a day as old posts with comments aren't receiving that much traffic)
I start seeing organic traffic
Domain 2: Jumped to DA 12, still ranking around 12 - 22 for 3 targeted low competition (difficulty of 12 - 19 MOZ) keywords.
No referral traffic from other websites but some organic.
Domain 3: DA 3 no real traffic to speak about
Month 3 - Moz lowered most DA World wide
Domain 1: DA 12, still posting comments and more trickles (about 7 a day now)
Domain 2: DA 14, Keywords stable at 12 - 22 position
Domain 3: DA 1 dropped altogether, trickles of traffic
Month 4
Domain 1: DA13 no more comments are made, got my face (profile pic - unfortunately no link) mentioned in https://ahrefs.com/blog/black-ha... (for my comment about experiment on domain 2)
Got mentioned and linked to by another blogger (Michael Pozdev) in 1 Simple Hack to Blogger Outreach, or How to Find best link building service in Bangladesh for a comment I made on his blog and adding him on LinkedIn.
Domain 2: DA 10 (dropped 4 in DA) rankings position in high teens and twenties now (losing traction)
Domain 3: no real traffic
Conclusion
Making comments on blogs gave me better Domain Authority (some of the comments were follow but I don't think that is the only reason).
Bought citations on high DA "Niche" relevant sites only helped temporarily but not that much.
I built relationships that are already helping my website
